This structure, featuring two aspheric sections of glass, contributes to a compact and lightweight lens. Furthermore, these glass sections also aid in reducing chromatic aberration significantly. Out of the sixteen elements, two are crafted from low-dispersion glass (ED), further enhancing the lens' effectiveness.

The lens' high-quality multi-layer and anti-reflective coatings ensure the vividness of the colours and contrast in images. The adjustments for focus plane angle and the parallel shift of the optical axis are +/-8.5mm and +/-12mm, respectively.
