Tilta ES-T18-V Camera Cage for Sony FX9 (V-mount) is a comprehensive, modular system that includes a V-mount battery plate distribution box and a VCT-U14 base plate with a shoulder pad. The power box offers two 2-pin LEMO and three D-Tap outputs, and includes an external XLR power input module to provide an alternative power solution for the camera.
The cage also has a built-in support bracket for the lens adapter and 15mm rod ports at the top, front and rear sides. For mounting, the cage features 1/4" -20 and 3/8" -16 accessory and tripod mounting threads, 1/4" -20 and 3/8" -16 ARRI-style anti-twist threads and ARRI-style rosettes for extension arms and handles.
The V-mount battery plate attaches to the included top plate at the back of your camera, enabling power supply to your camera and accessories. It also offers two 2-pin LEMO and three D-Tap outputs, and includes an external 4-pin XLR power input module. In addition, the battery plate can be adjusted via a bracket from the back of the camera, ensuring optimum placement of the camera on your shoulder.
The VCT-U14 base plate comes with an ergonomic shoulder pad and a 15 mm LWS rod mount at the front and back. It also includes two 7.9" rods for attaching accessories like a follow focus. The standard ARRI-style rosettes on the sides of the base plate allow the installation of extension arms or additional handles, and an integrated, adjustable lens support at the front provides support for longer, heavier lenses. The base plate also features a quick-release plate at the bottom that provides 1/4" -20 and 3/8" -16 screw threads for tripod mounting, and this plate is interchangeable with selected other Tilta quick-release plates.
